Play-in, Tonalization, Tutorial, Play-out, Ensemble, Private lesson
(Classes offered will need to be confirmed in coming days)

(COVID restriction applies to the number of people allowed in the room for all sessions)

Play-in and Play-out are the mass playing of the repertoire pieces together.
The students don't have to 'study' to play these pieces; you simply play what you can play.
There will be MANY pieces your child can't play yet, but being there to absorb in the environment is what 'Mother Tongue Education' of Suzuki Method is about.

Tonalization is unique to Suzuki learning where the particular focus is placed on the rich tone production while other elements such as posture and attitude are also attended to.               At 7am class, the students play revision pieces with 'good tone' in mind.

Tutorial class focuses on the pieces at the particular level.  Usually a piece or so is picked to work on the particular aspects of playing the cello.  The tutor assumes that the students can play all the pieces up to the latest piece that he or she is learning currently.
All the previous Suzuki repertoire pieces, not just the most advanced piece of the tutorial class level, will be used in the tutorial class.

Students will be allocated to either ensemble class or an enrichment class.  (TBC)
Each student will be allocated to a suitable level.
To be COVID safe, ensemble class students to bring own music stand.

Private lesson is for everyone.  Each student will be allocated to a tutor to receive one private lesson up to half an hour.

------------------------------------------
Concert

Solo performance is optional, but this does not incur an extra cost.
You will be allocated a brief run-through time with a piano accompanist during the camp.
If you want to do more practice with an accompanist than a run-through,
you need to do it before the camp day.
You will need to pay to the accompanist, and we can help to communicate.

Final concert is where everyone has a chance to play their ensemble pieces and mass items.

For both concerts, adult audience wear a face mask, and COVID safe seating arrangement needs to be observed.
